Get a tapaporte
A tapaporte is a booklet or stamp card with information about participating restaurants and the competition. It is usually available at the restaurants and at the tourist office in Nerja. Check the current edition's information for details.
Taste, collect stamps, and vote
Visit the restaurants, order their competition tapa, and collect stamps in your tapaporte. You can also vote for your favorites. The number of stamps required, the submission deadline, and prizes vary between editions.

How does Ruta de la Tapa 2026 work?
The concept is simple and fun!

Each participating restaurant offers a specially composed tapa together with a drink (usually beer, wine, or soft drink) at an advantageous price.

You can pick up a stamp card (often called a "pasaporte") where you collect stamps from the different establishments you visit, available at the tourist office in Nerja (opposite the Ayuntamiento town hall, between the Balcón de Europa and Plaza España), or at the restaurant you visit.

Visit as many competing restaurants as you like, taste their tapas, and collect stamps. Once you've collected a certain number, you can participate in raffles and win great prizes!

The winner will be drawn live on Radio Nerja 103.3 FM and also announced on the Facebook group
Prizes in the 2026 competition
To compete, you must have at least 9 stamps in your tapas passport. Winners will enjoy a dinner for four people at the route's winning establishment, in addition to receiving the number of liters of beer matching their body weight.
Furthermore, the five most active people on Instagram during the event will receive an exclusive Cervezas Victoria package.

Winner of Ruta de la Tapa in Nerja 2024
The winner of the 10th competition, which took place in 2024, was Eva-Lotta Berg (big congratulations from us at Boende i Nerja!) and the winning restaurant was Tapas Plaza.
When was Ruta de la Tapa in Nerja 2024?
From April 8th to 21st, the event took place in Nerja, offering a Spanish culinary experience where tapas lovers could enjoy small delicacies accompanied by a refreshing cold beer from Cervezas Victoria, all for just 3 euros per tapa.
This event, now celebrating its tenth year, is a welcome addition to the town's tourist and economic offerings, providing a unique opportunity to explore local gastronomy in an exciting way.
Ruta de la Tapa 2024 opened
The presentation ceremony was led by Antonio López, Nerja's Councillor for Commerce, and Antonio Villasclaras, representing Centro Comercial Abierto and Nerja Centro. López emphasized the importance of this event in enriching the town's tourist and economic landscape and encouraged both locals and visitors to participate in the festivities.
Prize 2024 - Vote and win a dinner for four people and your weight in beer
According to the ratings given by participants in Ruta de la Tapa, the winning establishment will be awarded a prize of 300 euros and a trip for two people. The second prize is 150 euros and the third prize is 100 euros.
Additionally, one lucky voter will be drawn as the winner of a dinner for four people and their weight in beer.
How to participate in Ruta de la Tapa
Participant "passports," called 'tapaportes,' can be requested on-site at the restaurants, or picked up at the Nerja tourist center available for anyone who wants to participate in the raffle, or simply have a physical map in hand :)
