Archive - 2024 - Discover lots of new tapas restaurants and tapas in Nerja at "Ruta de la Tapa"
As spring arrives in Nerja, new delicious tapas are annually presented, attracting both locals and visitors during the annual gastronomic event - Ruta de la Tapa Nerja. Each year, an exciting journey awaits through the flavors of Nerja, where about 15 of the city's tapas restaurants compete to offer the most exquisite tapas.

How it works

Pick up a "Tapaporte"/flyer (directly at the restaurant or at the tourist office)

Visit one of the participating restaurants and order –"tapa de la ruta de la tapa"

You will receive a stamp when you pay

You fill in the rating you think that specific tapa deserves in your "Tapaporte" (1-5, where 5 is the best)

Fill in your name on the back

Visit at least 9 tapas restaurants and get stamps

Submit it here before the deadline (stated in the information on your flyer)

The winner will be drawn live on Radio Nerja 103.3 FM and also shown on the Facebook group

Winner of Ruta de la Tapa in Nerja 2024
The winner of the 10th competition held in 2024 was Eva-Lotta Berg (big congratulations from us at Boende i Nerja!) and the winning restaurant is Tapas Plaza.
When was Ruta de la Tapa in Nerja 2024?
From April 8th to 21st, the event took place in Nerja, offering a Spanish culinary experience where tapas lovers could enjoy small delicacies accompanied by a refreshing cold beer from Cervezas Victoria, all for just 3 euros per tapa.
This event, now celebrating its tenth year, is a welcome addition to the city's tourism and economic offerings, providing a unique opportunity to explore local gastronomy in an exciting way.
Ruta de la Tapa 2024 began
The presentation ceremony was led by Antonio López, Councillor for Commerce in Nerja, and Antonio Villasclaras, representing Centro Comercial Abierto and Nerja Centro. López emphasized the importance of this event in enriching the city's tourism and economic landscape and urged both locals and visitors to participate in the festivities.
Prize 2024 - Vote and win a dinner for four people and your weight in beer
Based on the ratings given by participants in Ruta de la Tapa, the winning establishment will be awarded a cash prize of 300 euros and a trip for two people. Second prize is 150 euros and third prize is 100 euros.
Additionally, one lucky voter will be drawn as the winner of a dinner for four people and their weight in beer.
How to participate in Ruta de la Tapa
Participation "passports," called 'tapaportes,' can be requested at the restaurants themselves, or picked up at the tourist center in Nerja available for everyone who wants to participate in the raffle, or just have a physical map in hand :)
